At ALYSAN Home Care, caregiving is more than just a profession—it’s who we are.
We, Shaimaa and Irma, have spent over 20 years providing care, not just as caregivers but as people who truly understand what families go through when a loved one needs support.

Our journey started when we had to care for our own parents. We experienced firsthand the challenges of finding trustworthy care, balancing responsibilities, and ensuring our loved ones felt safe and valued. It was during this time that we discovered our deep passion for caregiving. What started as a personal responsibility quickly became a calling—one that led us to dedicate our lives to helping others.

Through the years, we have cared for individuals of all ages and needs, learning not just how to provide care, but how to truly connect with families and understand their struggles. We saw many families overwhelmed by the responsibility of caregiving, torn between caring for their loved ones and maintaining their own lives. One of the biggest challenges we witnessed was with families caring for loved ones with dementia and memory loss.

Caring for individuals with dementia became our favorite part of being caregivers. We know how difficult it is for families to find someone who truly understands their loved one’s unique needs— someone they can trust. Dementia care requires more than just assistance; it requires patience, compassion, and a deep understanding of the person behind the diagnosis. Over the years, we formed meaningful bonds with our dementia clients, learning how to bring them comfort, familiarity, and joy in their daily lives.

We started ALYSAN Home Care because we wanted to give families the kind of support they deserve—quality care that comes from the heart. No one should have to choose between caring for a loved one and maintaining their own well-being. Our goal is to ensure families can have peace of mind, knowing their loved ones are receiving the best possible care, without having to sacrifice their own personal lives.
